"Recorded and broadcast live on Boiler Room as part of the 'streaming from isolation' series at the beginning of lockdown in April 2020. 'Love is Love' is a continuous warm & hazy blown-out expulsion of texture and pattern - a deep meditation and mis-measured microdose - A slipping off the edge where the truth is experienced only when the words lose their meaning: LOVE IS LOVE. Suzi's echoing flute sits in the clouds hurtling over the analog peaks and valleys of Lewis synthesized vistas - a worldess voice echoes through mountains. This could be pre-Autobahn Kraftwerk; at times Terry RIley's Moonshine Dervishes can be heard descending those mountains, and all the while, there is something in the rhythms and drones that perhaps unintentionally connects with a celtic folk tradition at its most mystical. For all these comparisons, there is something immediate in these improvisations that strikes to the moment like an unspoken mantra. Seeming to be projected from a space of devotion, stemming and returning to the root, once again: LOVE IS LOVE."
